Conference Information

Register for the conference

How much does it cost?

For adults (14+):

  • Early registration (before October 1st): $100

  • Regular registration (Oct. 1 - January 1): $150.

Children 14 and under are free to register.

What is included with registration?

Your registration helps offset the costs of the hotel, audiovisual equipment, bringing in researchers, as well as several meals and events for families. With registration, you will also receive a ticket for a welcome reception on Friday night as well as lunch and dinner on Saturday.

Who needs to register?

Everyone 3 and over needs to register. Children from 3 -14 are free to register, but we need to include them in our headcount for meals and events. Children under 3 are also free and welcome to attend, but don’t count in our food/event totals and so they do not need to register.

Hotel

The conference will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton near the Philadelphia Airport. The hotel offers a shuttle to and from the airport and there are multiple dining options at the hotel (grab and go coffee shop, a bar/lounge, and a restaurant). For those traveling with children, please know that there is a chance that the pool (currently advertised) will not still be available at the time of the conference due to renovations.

We have reserved a block of rooms for attendees. The negotiated nightly rate is $119. The cutoff to secure this group rate is 12:01am (EDT) Thursday January 29, 2026.

Explore Philly!

The 2026 Research & Family Conference will be held in the ‘City of Brotherly Love.’ With its history, cultural landmarks, museums, and of course its cheesesteaks, Philadelphia has something to offer everyone in the family. When you’re not at the conference, be sure to check out the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Franklin Science Center, Independence Hall, Reading Terminal Market, the Philadelphia Zoo, or Camden Adventure Aquarium (just over the river—don’t miss the hippos!). Click here for more information on things to do while visiting Philly.

Check back here from time to time. We’ll add more details about our host city as we get closer to the conference.
